About this tool
Design a launcher icon from a letter, an emoji or an uploaded image, pick a background shape and colours, and download a ZIP with every density you need: mipmap-mdpi through mipmap-xxxhdpi (square and round), a 512 px Play Store icon, and 432 px adaptive-icon foreground and background layers. Everything is drawn in your browser with the Canvas API, so nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- 1 Choose a source: a short text, an emoji, or an image file.
- 2 Set the background shape and colours and adjust the padding until the preview looks right.
- 3 Download the ZIP and copy the mipmap folders into your app res directory.
Frequently asked questions
What is in the ZIP?
ic_launcher.png and ic_launcher_round.png for all five densities, a 512 px play-store icon, and ic_launcher_foreground.png plus ic_launcher_background.png at 432 px for adaptive icons on Android 8 and up.
Does the image get uploaded?
No. The file you choose stays in the browser; the icons are generated locally and the ZIP is built in memory.
What size should my source image be?
At least 512 px square with a transparent background works best. Smaller images still work but may look soft at the largest density.
